Halo Infinite’s First Multiplayer Tech Preview Begins Tomorrow for Select Halo Insiders

Microsoft is releasing a first look at the future of Halo multiplayer with a tech preview that will be available to select Halo Insiders.

343 Industries has started sending out invite letters to lucky Halo Insiders who will be the first to experience Halo Infinite’s multiplayer component.

The first technical preview material for Halo Infinite starts tomorrow, July 29th, and runs through Monday, August 2nd. It features brand-new Halo Infinite modes including Bot Slayer and Drills for Weapons. The first will let four people fight against bots on three levels (Live Fire, Bazaar, and Recharge), while the second will let players test out a range of weaponry ranging from assault rifles to plasma pistols.

Any and all Halo Insiders who are chosen to participate in the test are urged to do so, as it will enable the Halo Infinite team to enhance the multiplayer experience depending on the PC hardware configurations and other data gathered.

Those who weren’t selected for the technical preview may still get a look at Halo Infinite’s multiplayer mode thanks to a trailer released by 343 Industries earlier today. Over the course of the week, Halo Insiders should be uploading a lot of fresh video.

Thursday, July 30th Scheduled Playtimes are 12-2 p.m. PT and 7-9 p.m. PT.
the 31st of July Playtimes are 12-2 p.m. PT and 7-9 p.m. PT.
Sunday, August 1st is the date set for the event. Playtimes are 12-2 p.m. PT and 7-9 p.m. PT.
On Monday, August 2nd, the tech preview will end at 10 a.m. PT.

If we meet our Bot Slayer engagement and testing objectives before the flight ends, we’ll give you a chance to play some good old-fashioned 4v4 Social Arena Slayer for a short time. Anticipate it to arrive anytime in the last leg of the trip (i.e. Sunday evening) and expect a few possible problems with your experience if we reach this point.
