EA Play Spotlight reveals new gameplay and features for FIFA 22. The game will be available on ea play with a price of $59.99.
EA hasn’t held back on releasing material ahead of the big EA Play Live event later this week, with a slew of new features expected to come in FIFA 22. The most recent development is EA Sports’ recent announcement of the gameplay for the forthcoming FIFA 22 game. Apart from the inclusion of HyperMotion technology and many improvements to in-game tactics, ball physics, and goalkeeping, FIFA 22 looks to be the finest edition yet.
To keep you up to speed on everything you’ll need to know about FIFA 22, we’ve compiled the following list of everything EA has disclosed to us regarding the game’s new features and gameplay.
FEATURES AND GAMEPLAY IN FIFA 22 HAVE BEEN REVEALED
With enhanced offensive tactics, real ball physics, explosive sprint, goalie dependability, and HyperMotion technology, FIFA seems to have upped their game in 2023. The following is a list of everything mentioned in the official gameplay reveal video.
New Attacking Moves & Tactics
You’ll have greater control over your offensive assault as well, in addition to the obvious improvements to your tactical defense unit. Players will not have more choices for setting up their teammates and sliders to enhance the overall feel of the game. Teams may also have distinct styles of play in either half of the field, giving them even more creative control over how they handle the game.
Players will make up to 6x as many choices per second with these new offensive strategies as they did in FIFA 21. Furthermore, the game will offer the option for players to manipulate the ball with first-time skill movements, providing for even more flexibility while dribbling and avoiding opponents. Scoop Turn Fake, Four Touch Skill, Skilled Bridge, and the First Time Spin are among the four new skill techniques.
Ball Physics as it Should Be
In addition, FIFA 22 includes additional real-world data, bringing the game’s ball mechanics to a whole new level of realism. When it comes to ball flight, they’ve fine-tuned every aspect, including speed, swerve, air drag, air resistance, ground friction, and rolling friction. Every touch, trap, shot, volley, pass, and dribble is intended to resemble a real-life football situation, making the experience much more realistic and exciting.
Goalkeeping that is dependable
One of the most annoying scenarios in FIFA is when your goalie loses his ability to prevent simple goals for no apparent reason. The good news is that it seems like the AI goalkeeping defensive system in FIFA 22 will be much more intuitive and realistic in its ability to regularly save shots.
“A completely new goalkeeper system adds a new level of intelligence to the final line of defense, enabling more dependable shot-stopping and better decision-making between the posts,” EA said in the release. Goalkeeper placement personality represents the lightning-fast reactions of world-class shot stoppers by replicating various types of keepers throughout the game.”
Sprint with a Bang
The new Explosive Sprint option will give players greater control over acceleration while dribbling or defending, rather than just sprinting until your tank reaches “E.” The new feature enables you to save energy for later in the game while also allowing you to take advantage of mismatches and player momentum.
HyperMotion Technology is a technology that allows you to move quickly.
EA’s machine learning system collects data from real-life football matches and uses it to generate realistic player fluidity for passing, shooting, and overall flexibility in real-time. FIFA 22 will include almost 4,000 new animations, three times as many as last year’s edition. The new HyperMotion technology also gives players greater control over the ball when in stride, as well as additional choices for getting around opponents (rather than needing top-rated speed).
Overall, many have said that FIFA 22 has some of the finest features in terms of player mobility, fast and simple passing, and realistic gameplay. So, assuming what we’ve heard is accurate, FIFA 22 will be one of the greatest games of 2023.
