There are two major paths you may follow when it comes to custom content clothing and hair:
Maxis Match or Alpha.
The Alpha material seems more realistic, while Maxis Match mimics the game’s aesthetic or “matches” the clothing Maxis produces.
It all relies on your own taste and style. However, I always choose Maxis Match.
Because you can easily mix and match it with other items in CAS, a little goes a long way in providing your Sim an extended wardrobe.
The thing is, there’s so much of it out there & you might not know where to begin!
Oh, the dresses, jeans, and sweaters! Whatever you’re looking for, there will undoubtedly be a plethora of choices.
But don’t worry, this collection has some of the finest Maxis Match content available.
Whether you’re looking for a new pair of jeans or some overalls for your Sim, you’ll find them here, and they’ll all be great.
1. Sarah at the top

Sweaters in The Sims are just as flexible as they are in real life.
You may wear them throughout the autumn, winter, and even for a short period in the spring. They are available in an infinite number of designs, colors, and styles.
When you want your Sim to appear elegant and stylish, these turtlenecks are the way to go.
Both the collar and the end of the 3/4-length sleeves have a lovely ribbed pattern.
Plus, with 20 solid colors to pick from, these sweaters may be worn with a variety of outfits and situations.

When it comes to shorts, there’s just so much you can do to make something new.
Yes, you may carve a fringe pattern into them or change the length.
But, apart from that, particularly in The Sims, you have to accept them as they are.

The world had changed forever, and no one would ever have to put up with boring shorts again!
Maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but I like flowery patterns on jeans like these.
There are eight swatches in all, with beautiful flowers and foliage on both the front and back of the shorts, and you may pick between frayed or tidy fraying.

So be warned: even if your Mod folder is already full, you’ll want to make space for this.
Even the Sim toddlers modeling the outfit are adorable, but you won’t believe how much more so until you have your own little one in it.
When they’re wearing an overall dress, they can get away with anything.
She’s wearing a sweater and overall dress, and she’s a fashionable little woman now! Forget about her tantrums and the messes she creates; she’s wearing a sweater and overall dress, and she’s a stylish young lady now!
Riley Sweater, No. 5

The majority of the sweaters in the game are large and saggy.
And, of course, they’re extremely popular in real life, as well as being very comfy.
It’s great to see your Sim wear something a bit more flattering now and again.
The Riley Sweater by Anessasims has a somewhat more mature cut. It’s almost cropped, but not quite; with most trousers, the bottom of the sweater and the top of the jeans will match up perfectly.
As a result, it will give any ensemble a more contemporary look.
There are a total of 56 swatches here, including solids and patterns, so your Sim will have a lifelong supply of sweaters.
6. Classy & Chic Shirt

When it comes to flattering shirts, do you know what isn’t?
Any of the female button-downs from the basic game. Eek!
Don’t get me wrong: they’re fantastic for a formal appearance or when you want your Sim to seem serious.
However, there isn’t much chance for integrating them into stylish, casual ensembles.
This Get Famous creator’s modification of the shirt is the ideal answer.
It’s elegant and feminine from top to bottom, and it’s a tucked design.
If your Sim wears this with belted jeans or denim skirts, she’ll look unstoppable.
The collar is a bit open, which takes away the formality. Finally, your Sim women will be able to wear casual button-downs!
Honeybee Jumpsuit No. 7

Another fantastic design by Anessasims, this time in the form of a jumpsuit.
A jumpsuit, to be precise.
That’s something I’m not sure why you don’t see more of in Sims. They’re constantly in a good mood.
This is a very adorable design, having an overall stylish appearance save for the ribbony embellishments that attach them.
The jumpsuit is similarly cinched at the waist, has “pockets,” and has cuffed legs.
To put it another way, there’s a lot going on. And it all comes together to create a really distinctive outfit.
The shirts underneath the costume are also fantastic and, with their tiny patterns, perfectly complement the outfit.
Jackets by Alexaar

There are three coats here, and they are all excellent representations of the Simming community’s creativity and fashion sense.
It will be difficult to go back once you start taking them.
Every Sim you create from now on will have a denim or corduroy jacket that is somewhat vintage.
That is, at least, true for me.
I originally discovered this in early 2023 and have never grown weary of it. The furry collar and cuffs are a classic design that never goes out of style.
While the coats are undoubtedly the stars of the show, the sweaters underneath them complement them well.
Each of the Demi and Cordi jackets contains 45 swatches, with the Cordi jacket having 75.
Whether you like a classic style or prefer something more contemporary, you’ll find something suitable for you and your Sim here.
9. Shirt with Checks

It may be difficult to find fashionable items for male Sims that aren’t t-shirts.
Rope, on the other hand, makes things a lot simpler.
These checkered shirts look fantastic. They have a laid-back vibe about them, and the 15 swatches span a wide range of styles.
There are tiny checks, bigger plaid swatches, and even some really huge boxy checks.
Furthermore, the color choices are fantastic – extremely vivid!

When I was younger, I acquired most of my shorts by waiting until the knees of my pants were so frayed that my mother clipped the legs off, and cutoff shorts were created.
I’m sure I’m not the only one that feels this way.
That doesn’t seem to be that prevalent these days… Perhaps the quality of jeans has improved?
In any event, it’s a nostalgic but timeless appearance that I like to give my Sim children.
These Onyx Sims cutoff shorts are a bit finer than most of the cutoff shorts I own, but I adore them.
They feature a beautifully detailed denim pattern and are slightly cuffed on the legs.
They’re suitable for both toddlers and children, so your whole family may enjoy the jorts lifestyle.
Paperbag Trousers (No. 11)

When it comes to jeans, you may not believe there’s much space for creativity.
But, as it turns out, this isn’t quite correct.
I’ve never seen anything exactly like Colorful Plumbobs’ Paperbag Trousers, and I’m starting to feel starved.
They are very stunning and have a unique design.
The waist is ruffled and the belt is tied with a bow. That bow will complement the pants no matter whatever swatch you pick. And the flower pattern is just stunning!
If you usually constantly put your Sims in thin jeans since other kinds of trousers don’t look well on them, then these are for you.
They have big, saggy legs that aren’t in any way unattractive.
In fact, your Sim will look fantastic.
Sannie Overalls (12.)

Overalls may be one of the greatest innovations of all time.
They’re not only very functional, but they’re also fantastic for casual clothes.
They’ve gained a lot of traction in recent years and show no signs of stopping down. For a variety of situations, consumers still prefer to pair them with sweaters, cropped tees, and long-sleeved shirts.
Nords, the originator, pulled together some of the finest aspects of the style.
These overalls have an amazing & detailed denim texture, right down to the frayed design on the legs.
With a short-sleeved cropped tee, the shirt layer blends perfectly in.
Jessica Skirt (#13)

You’ll have to make due with what’s currently in CAS until The Sims adds some kind of garment length slider.
Sure, there are lots of beautiful skirts on the market right now.
But, let’s be honest, when it comes to pairing them with clothes, the majority of them are a bit strange.
Many are very short, or most shirts fall short of the waistline, leaving you with a visible belly whether you want it or not.
As a result, CC skirts are among my favorite items.
Simmers tend to know what’s hot and what’s not in terms of fashion, and this Jessica Skirt is stunning.
It features a higher waist that will go with a variety of tank tops, tees, and sweaters.
It also has a great length, ending just below the knee.
14. Rosemary’s Look

You’ve undoubtedly heard the phrase “business casual,” but haven’t given it much consideration when it comes to your Sims.
Unless you have Get To Work, their job is simply someplace they go for a few hours a day and then come home in an unfashionably dressed clothing that you quickly change them out of.
This Rosemary Suit, on the other hand, would offer the sophisticated feel you wish your Sim’s real-life business outfit possessed.
It’s a skirt and blazer combination, and it’s a really stylish one.
Many of the blazers in the game, both for men and women, have a dowdy look to them.
This, on the other hand, seems like it was made just for your Sim.
The overall fit is excellent.
It’s also available in 38 different swatches, including some that are one-of-a-kind as well as patterns like plaid.
Top of the Daisies

Your real-life wardrobe is likely to be very diverse.
There’s a good chance you have more than a few t-shirts, sweaters, and crop tops in your closet.
You don’t have to travel too far into the CC world to offer your Sims some more unusual clothing. These designers are incredible at creating outfits that seem just like anything you’d pick up off the rack, and this shirt from Bowl Of Plumbobs is no exception.
It features a puffy, layered sleeve design and a little knot at the bottom, all of which add to the cuteness of this top.

Some of my favorite aspects of this game are the clothes that are available for different ages.
I mean, a lot of kids in real life desire to dress up like their parents.
You can even do a “daddy/mommy and me” thing with this things and make them match!
This designer has created these amazing denim vests for everyone. Vests may be worn by men, women, adults, children, and toddlers alike.
It has a vintage vibe to it since it’s layered over a t-shirt, and I’m loving it.
Vests, particularly denim vests, are, nevertheless, ageless.
Your Sim may wear this at any time — or for the rest of their life.
17. Comfortable Clothes

To be honest, you can never have too many casual dresses.
Even the tiniest changes may dramatically transform a garment.
Changing the jewelry or shoes may completely transform the appearance.
With a dress as beautiful as this one, all of that will be a breeze.
With shirt sleeves, a scoop neck, and a short length, it has a skater flair.
There are a total of 50 swatches here, including 40 solids and 10 pattern patterns.

Your Sims will appear comfortable and sophisticated in these robes from SimmieV, whether it’s morning or night.
I don’t believe most people sleep in robes, but it doesn’t matter since your Sim is only on the bed for a brief period.

20. Splash Cropped Oversized Cardigan

The denim texture is fantastic, and the cuffing at the bottom of the trousers adds a wonderful finishing touch.
I’m sure it wasn’t simple, but these oversized jeans look great!

However, since there are so few choices in the basic game, they quickly get stale.
Racecars and cowboys are cute, but only so many times.

To keep that childlike innocence at night, they have a lot of adorable creature patterns, hearts, trees, rockets, and other things.
Plus, like the basegame pajamas, they’re divided into tops and bottoms, allowing you to mix and match.
Men’s Thrift Tops (number 23)

Finding these, as well as other treasures from thrift shops, has become something of a pastime in recent years.
For some, it’s all about the aesthetics, while for others, it’s all about the pleasure of discovering a good deal.

These will be a great complement to your Sim’s daily outfit.
They feature cuffed sleeves and vintage patterns on all ten swatches.

To be honest, it’s rare to locate sets that look this beautiful in real life. That’s all the more incentive, I suppose, to let your Sims live their finest lives… They have more options for better clothing!

These outfits are among the finest I’ve ever seen, in terms of both shape and elegance.
They have a far better appearance than many others, and the swatches are really unique.
