The impending battle between the three deities is being hyped up in Tokyo Revengers Chapter 222. Mikey’s anger seems to be triggered by Draken’s presence to the amusement park to rescue Takemichi.
Since the beginning of the new arc, Tokyo Revengers has been a huge success. The three deities’ entrance had a significant effect on the plot. Unlike previously, when the narrative revolved on the Tokyo Manji Gang’s overwhelming power, the current arc centers on the danger posed by the three major families in the delinquent world.
Recap of Chapter 221 of Tokyo Revengers
Mikey returns to the story in the newest chapter, titled “Ups and Downs of His Fate.” Mikey seems to be gazing out of a building window, based on his posture. The chaos at the amusement park continues in the following scene. Senju was seen in Takemichi’s arms, while Draken stood in front of the Rokuhara Tandai members.
The gang member who attempted to kill Takemichi ran when he saw Draken. Draken explained why he was visiting the amusement park to Takemichi. Inupi received the news of individuals intending to assault Takemichi and that they were heading to the amusement park, according to the former vice-president of Tokyo Manji Gang. Takemichi understood the people were attempting to murder him. Draken stressed that Takemichi is a well-known figure, and that the fact that he has joined Brahman makes them feel threatened, prompting them to act.
Draken also said, unlike previously, that the battle between the three deities is much more simply a spiritual conflict, as it includes dirty financial and corporate interests. Takemichi chooses to inform Draken about his ability to glimpse the future as the two continue their discussion. Takemichi stated that the image he saw was of Senju, who was dying, protecting him. They were able to alter the future thanks to Draken’s intervention. When Draken learns that they have altered Senju’s future, he seems pleased.
Senju then stands out and requests that they leave the area. Takemichi agreed, and as the two began sprinting, Takemichi observed Draken remained still. Instead of leaving the location, Takemichi contacted Draken and requested him to deliver a message to Mikey. Takemichi, the former vice-president of the Tokyo Manji Gang, slowly sank to the ground as he attempted to respond to Draken’s plea. Draken was really struck by the gunshots that were fired earlier. Draken informs Takemichi that he has already done all he can do as the chapter approaches its last spread. Takemichi and Senju observe the injured Draken lying on the ground at the conclusion of the manga chapter.
Release Date for Tokyo Revengers Chapter 222
On September 15, 2023, Tokyo Revengers Chapter 222 will be published. There is currently no information or announcement about any delays or scheduling adjustments for the next Tokyo Revengers manga chapter. Ken Wakui’s manga, like other popular manga series, gets a new chapter every week. The manga had previously been placed on hold owing to a planned break by the publishing house.
